How we approach Ferndale projects.
Small houses show their floors everywhere, so consistency matters: one species and finish running through the main rooms makes a bungalow feel bigger than it measures. Where original oak survives, refinishing is usually the smart money, and we tell you straight when it is not.
Bathrooms and kitchens here are compact, which makes tile pattern and scale decisions matter more, not less. We lay out mosaics and large-format tile to suit small rooms, run heated floors where a bungalow's single bath earns the upgrade, and waterproof like the room will be used hard, because it will.
A lot of our Ferndale flooring work rides inside bigger projects, attic conversions and basement finishes included. Planning the floors with the whole project keeps transitions clean between old rooms and new ones, and keeps heights aligned so doorways and stairs land right.
