How we approach Birmingham projects.
Wide-plank hardwood, herringbone and chevron layouts, and large-format stone and porcelain are the standing requests in Birmingham, and all of them are unforgiving of preparation shortcuts. We flatten substrates to spec before a single board or tile goes down, because at this finish level the floor either reads perfect or it reads wrong.
Heated floors run through most of our Birmingham bath and mudroom work, and increasingly under kitchen tile as well. We design the systems room by room, with programmable controls and layouts that cover where feet actually land, so the comfort is complete instead of approximate.
Material sourcing gets real attention: stone with movement matched across a floor, hardwood culled and racked before installation, and samples reviewed in the room's own light before we commit. The difference between good and exceptional flooring is decided before installation day, and we spend the time there.
